For coaches

Assess a player

Scoring a player against the framework, one pillar at a time.

Steps

  1. Open the player and press Assess player, or New assessment if they have been scored before.
  2. Use the Pillars tabs to move through the framework, or press Next at the foot of each pillar.
  3. Score each skill from 0 to 10. Their previous score is shown beside the scale so you can see what has moved.
  4. Add a per-skill note where the number needs explaining.
  5. Flag competencies red, amber or green.
  6. Add Assessment notes (optional) and press Save assessment.

Good to know

  • Leave a skill blank if you have not seen it. Blanks are ignored in the averages rather than counted as zero.
  • A completely blank assessment is refused.
  • To start from the last set of scores instead of a blank sheet, press Start from last scores on the assessments page.
  • You must hold an active coach or head coach place in that player's workspace to save.
  • After saving you land on the history page with the new assessment flagged Just saved.
