Assess a player
Scoring a player against the framework, one pillar at a time.
Steps
- Open the player and press Assess player, or New assessment if they have been scored before.
- Use the Pillars tabs to move through the framework, or press Next at the foot of each pillar.
- Score each skill from 0 to 10. Their previous score is shown beside the scale so you can see what has moved.
- Add a per-skill note where the number needs explaining.
- Flag competencies red, amber or green.
- Add Assessment notes (optional) and press Save assessment.
Good to know
- Leave a skill blank if you have not seen it. Blanks are ignored in the averages rather than counted as zero.
- A completely blank assessment is refused.
- To start from the last set of scores instead of a blank sheet, press Start from last scores on the assessments page.
- You must hold an active coach or head coach place in that player's workspace to save.
- After saving you land on the history page with the new assessment flagged Just saved.
