Get a copy of your data
You can ask for a copy of everything held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, and your coach is who you ask.
Steps
- Decide what you want: a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted.
- Ask your coach. Message them from Messages, or if you are under 18 ask a parent or guardian to ask on your behalf.
- Your coach exports your record as a file and sends it to you.
- For deletion, the head coach carries it out. Ask them to confirm once it is done.
Good to know
- There is no export button in your own portal. It runs from the coach's side, and every export is recorded.
- The export is everything about one player: sessions, attendance, assessments, goals, notes and forms.
- Your club is the data controller, so a request goes to them rather than to Rotate.
- If you leave, your coach usually archives you rather than deleting. Archived records are kept for a limited period and then permanently removed. Deleting is permanent and immediate, and it cannot be undone.
- Turning emails off is separate from any of this. That is a tick box on your account.
