What your coach can see about you

It is worth knowing exactly where the line is, so you can be honest in the app without wondering who is reading.

Steps

  1. Open Progress to see the assessments your coach has done and the ratings you have sent them.
  2. Open Calendar and look at Your own entries: those are the private ones.
  3. Open Messages and check the line under a thread's name to see who is in it.
  4. Anything you are unsure about, ask your coach outright.

Good to know

  • Your coach sees your RSVPs, your check-ins, your attendance, your goals and practice, your self ratings, your tournament entries and every diary note you write.
  • They do not see the calendar entries you add yourself. Those are yours.
  • They keep notes about you that you do not see. A session note marked private stays with them, and a follow-up only reaches you when they send it.
  • Your club, not Rotate, decides who is a coach in your workspace, and any coach there can see your record.
  • Your club is responsible for your data. Rotate holds it for them.
