Session notes and follow-ups
Two kinds of note against a session: one for the coaching team, one you deliberately send to the family.
Steps
- Open Calendar and tap the session.
- Under Private coach note, write what actually happened, pick Whole squad or one player, and press Save private note.
- Under Follow-up for the player, write what they did well and the one thing to practise, pick who it is for, and press Save follow-up.
- When you are happy with it, press Send follow-up.
Good to know
- A private note is coach-only, always. Players and parents never see it.
- A follow-up is invisible to the family until you press Send follow-up. Writing it is safe; sending it is the decision.
- Sending emails the player and their approved parents, and shows the note in their portal.
- A follow-up cannot be sent twice, so nobody gets the same note two nights running.
- Unsent follow-ups show in Needs you on Today so they do not sit forgotten.
