For parents

Who can see what about your child

Three groups of people exist in your club's Rotate: the coaching team, your family, and everyone else, who sees nothing about your child at all.

Steps

  1. Open Progress to see exactly what the coach has scored and shared.
  2. Open Sessions to see whether your child was marked in, and any note the coach chose to send.
  3. Open Calendar and look under Your own entries for anything you added yourself.

Good to know

  • Other parents at the club cannot see your child's scores, attendance, goals, notes or fees.
  • Coaches keep private session notes that are never shown to you. A note only reaches you once the coach sends it, and then it appears on the session.
  • A note you write for the coach always goes to the coach. It is not private.
  • Entries you add under Your own entries on the calendar are seen by nobody else: not the coach, and not your child.
  • When your child rates themselves, the coach can compare it with their own scoring. That is the point of it.
  • In a shared thread, everyone in the thread sees everything. The header tells you who, for example Seen by you, Coach Gavin and Ella.
