Who can see your messages
Every thread tells you who is in it before you type, so you are never guessing whether your child is reading over the coach's shoulder.
Steps
- Open Messages and tap a conversation.
- Read the tag beside the name at the top: Private, Family thread or Group.
- Read the line under it, which names everyone who can see the thread.
- Only then type your message.
Good to know
- Private is strictly two people, and a child under 18 is never one of them.
- Family thread is you, the coach and one child.
- Group is a club or squad conversation, and everyone listed sees every message.
- Other parents cannot see your private thread with the coach.
- Deleting your own message replaces it with Message deleted for everybody. It does not remove it from the record silently.
