Set a goal

A goal is one thing a player is working on, with a target and a date, visible to them in their portal.

Steps

  1. Open the player and press Goals book, or open Goal books from the Plan group and pick a player.
  2. Press New goal.
  3. Fill in the Goal, pick a Category, set a Deadline and, if it is a rating goal, a Target rating.
  4. Choose Start now or Start later.
  5. Press Add goal.

Good to know

  • A player can have three active goals at once. At the cap, a new goal is kept as Planned rather than thrown away, and the page tells you.
  • Start later files the goal as planned. Start it from the row menu with Start now whenever you are ready.
  • The goal books index shows every player with their active goal count and nearest deadline.
  • Players and parents see planned, active and completed goals. Archived goals are your filing decision and are shown to nobody.
  • The fastest way to a good goal is Focus areas on the assessments page, which seeds one from the five weakest skills.
