Physical tests and benchmarks
Your club's test battery: the measured numbers, and the bands that turn a number into a colour.
Steps
- Open Physical tests from the Plan group.
- Starting from nothing, press Add the Badminton basics set for five badminton tests with their benchmarks.
- Or press Add test, give it a Name, a Unit, set Better when to Higher or Lower, and press Add test again.
- Press Benchmarks on a test, then under Add a band set a Min and/or Max, with an optional Gender, Age from and Age to, and press Add band.
- Use the row menu for Move up, Move down, Archive test or Delete test.
Good to know
- There are five bands, matching the colours used everywhere else in Rotate, so a colour beside a physical result means the same as a colour beside an assessment score.
- Use the standard bands puts the standard five-band set on a basics test. It refuses a test whose thresholds you have edited yourself.
- A test with results recorded against it is archived rather than deleted, and Rotate tells you why: deleting it would wipe those results from every player's history.
- Bands can be qualified by age and gender. A more specific band wins, so an under-16 matches the junior band rather than the open one.
- The badminton basics set can only be added to a club with no tests yet.
