What the scores mean

Every skill is scored from 0 to 10, and there is a written description behind each score, so a 7 means the same thing to you as it does to your coach.

Steps

  1. Tap Progress, then Start rating.
  2. Pick a skill and tap along the scale. The description for that score appears as you go.
  3. Read it, then choose the one that actually sounds like you today.
  4. Close the form without sending if you only came to read the descriptions.

Good to know

  • 0 is novice and 10 is world class. Most club players sit in the middle of the scale for most skills, and that is the point of it.
  • Skills are grouped into six pillars. Your overall number is the average across them, which is why one big jump barely moves it.
  • Your club's coach writes the framework, so the exact skills and wording are theirs. Another club's 7 is not your 7.
  • A score is a snapshot of today, not a label. It is meant to be re-scored.
