Send a video link

Paste a video link into a message and it comes through as something your coach can play, with the option to start it at the exact moment you mean.

Steps

1. Open the thread in Messages.
2. Paste the link into the box, which says Write a message, or paste a video link.
3. A Start at box appears under it. Type a time as mm:ss, for example 1:24.
4. Add a line saying what to look at, then send.

Good to know

• Start at only appears once there is a YouTube link in what you have typed. No link, no box.
• The clip opens at that point for whoever taps it, so you do not have to describe where in a twenty minute video the rally is.
• Anyone in the thread can open the link. Check who is in the thread before you send footage of other people.
• If a video is private or unlisted on YouTube, it stays as private as YouTube makes it. Rotate does not change that.
