Why only your child can rate themselves

When a coach asks for a self-rating, they are asking your child what they think of their own game, so only your child can give one.

Steps

  1. If a request is outstanding you will see a line saying the coach has asked your child to rate themselves.
  2. Ask your child to sign in with their own login.
  3. They open Progress and press Start.
  4. They score each skill, pillar by pillar, and send it.
  5. Once it is in, you can see it on Progress in the self-rating panel.

Good to know

  • There is no way to do it for them, even with the best of intentions. A rating you gave would tell the coach nothing useful.
  • The value is in the gap. Where your child scores themselves well below or well above the coach is exactly where the next conversation happens.
  • If your child does not have their own login yet, ask the coach to invite them.
  • Their past self-ratings are listed with dates, so you can both see how their own view has moved.
