Follow your child's progress
Progress shows how the coach scores your child across the club's pillars, and how your child scores themselves.
Steps
- Open Progress, or tap Coach's latest score on your family page.
- Read the big number at the top, labelled Coach's overall, with the date it was assessed.
- Work down the bars underneath. Each is one pillar of the game.
- Look at The shape of the game for the same scores drawn as a radar.
- Open the self-rating panel, which is headed with your child's name, to compare their own view with the coach's.
Good to know
- Everything is scored from 0 to 10, where 0 is a complete novice and 10 is world class. A young player scoring 4 is doing well; the scale is deliberately built to leave room to grow.
- The orange tick on a bar is your child's own rating, so you can see where the two views differ. That gap is usually the interesting part, not the number itself.
- Scores only appear once a coach has done an assessment and shared it. Until then you will see No scores yet.
- You are seeing exactly what your child sees. There is no separate parent version of the scores.
